I See What You Are Saying

I am participating in the "I See What You Are Saying" festivities from 2nd-cup-of-coffee's blogspot. Her blog is quite entertaining and I enjoy reading it when I get the chance.

Ok.. for some reason, I can't post the video that I made for this fun day. I guess it was too large. Bummer! So, here's a previously posted video of me and my mom waiting for Hurricane Ike to hit. I was keeping my family updated via my blog until we lost power at about 2am on Saturday morning. (Hence, the "I love you" sign-off.)

Sorry folks.. nothing fun and creative on this one. :-(

Mary, this turned out just fine for this project, didn't it?! You are the only one who featured food, I think! Or a "MeeMaw." I'm so glad to have met you and hope that you enjoyed visiting all of the blogs. Blessings, Linda

Don't you just love waiting for a hurricane to hit? We never cooked like this when we've waited.

Nice to see you and meet you.

I cooked bacon yesterday. W-M had Oscar Mayer on sale foro $2.98/lb!! I should have bought 10 packs! anyhoo, you should cook it in the oven. Line your oldest, rusted, burnt-black cookie sheet with foil, spread the bacon out and cover with foil. Cook at 400 till its done like you like it! Put some paper towels in the foil to absorb the grease and throw it all away.

Finally, eat a pound of bacon like its air and thank Jesus for pigs.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I enjoyed your video. I hope you and your family and friends came through Ike safely and without much damage.

Love you video, I'm almost jealous you are working downtown. I could become an urbanite. We'll do lunch soon.

You did a great job and I could almost smell the bacon over here at my home. Tell MeMa that she looked great on Web World..

Great job, Mary! Believe it or not, I think I have the very same cross that's hanging on your wall...or at least one that's very similar.

That totally worked. Nice to see you! I sure hope the hurricanes are finished with their wild rumpus for the season. One can always hope. I'm in Florida.

First off, LOVE your blog design!
My son sent me a youtube tutorial on compressing my video (I have a Mac). If you would like the link, just let me know.
And I enjoyed your "waiting for Hurricane Ike" video! We waited out one hurricane while living in south Florida and that was enough for me!
Seeing that sizzling bacon about did me in. Can't get that kind of bacon here and I MISS IT!
