Picture January 2009
For some reason the New Year gave way to alot of thought as to what I expect in 2009. I considered not blogging for awhile, considered what I want to accomplish personally, and considered what I want to accomplish on the job. Lacy has started the year with her "word." I have chosen this year to be the one where I listen more and talk less. So, I chose the word "Silence." No, this doesn't mean that I will never talk. What I hope to accomplish is practicing the art of choosing my words carefully. If I can't say it right, nicely, or without hurting others, my goal is to keep silent.
Along with this theme, I will take a break from words in my blog. January will be a blog of pictures. No words to describe them. No commentary on what was taking place. Just pictures. Perhaps, my all of 4 or 5 blog readers will enjoy them. (Wink, wink.. love you family) Either way, I am anxious to see what I can capture on digital this month.
