I am sure you will remember this couple.  Kai & Gareth.  Attending their wedding was so sweet and enjoyable.  No brides maids, no groomsmen.  It was all about the bride and groom and I loved it!  It was a no stress, no worry, peaceful time.  I hope I did it justice.

Love is fun to be around.  Shayla & Evelyn's love was fun to photograph.  I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with this couple and am honored that they allowed me to photograph their moments together.  Watching them smile at one another..you can't help but smile along with them.

Alexander Birthdays: 7 Acre Woods: January 29, 2011

One of my favorite families...as said in a previous post, I just adore the Alexander Family.  The children celebrated their birthdays together this year at a very whimsical park - 7 Acre Woods.  Such a magical place for a 5 and 3 year old!  A petting zoo, zip line, playground, putt-putt golf course, and many other fun things to do.  For me, it was being given the opportunity to once again capture/ the innonence, fun spirit and beauty of these two kiddos....

OK... so this isn't an Alexander Kiddo but he did smile for the camera.

The Alexander Family: Mercer Arboretum: January 8th, 2011

 The Alexander Family have become some of my dearest friends.  Tommie (the mom) and I worked together years ago.  We bonded right away and have seen each other through some crazy times but now have the opportunity to watch each other grow in happiness.

They allowed me the honor of taking their family photographs this year.  As you can tell, Tommie will be bringing another lovely child into this world.  She expressed a desire to not only create some memories of her beautiful pregnant body but to share these moments as a family. 

Below are 5 of my favorite moments.  Each one chosen not because of some technical quality of the photo but because of the joy, love, and tenderness depicted in each shot.  Their energy is infectious. I loved spending time with them and loved sharing these moments with them.
