Kai & Gareth's Wedding: Heather's Glen: Conroe, TX

I am sure you will remember this couple.  Kai & Gareth.  Attending their wedding was so sweet and enjoyable.  No brides maids, no groomsmen.  It was all about the bride and groom and I loved it!  It was a no stress, no worry, peaceful time.  I hope I did it justice.

Derrick's Birthday

It's time to catch up on my projects.  But, first, I must pay a belated homage to my fun (and sometimes sweet) son, Officer Derrick Salim Jaradi.  He turned 23 on April 15th and I still can't believe it!  Here are few highlights from an impromptu get together for his special day:

Love is fun to be around.  Shayla & Evelyn's love was fun to photograph.  I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with this couple and am honored that they allowed me to photograph their moments together.  Watching them smile at one another..you can't help but smile along with them.

Gareth & Kai: The Woodlands Waterway: February 27, 2011

Kai and I worked together for several years.  A sweet lady with a little sass.  The one thing that I have always cherished in our relationship is honesty.  We've always been honest with one another. 

This weekend, Kai and her fiancee, Gareth, gave me the opportunity to photograph them.  What a nice opportunity it was!  You could feel and see the love between them.  I enjoyed watching them interact.  I hope you enjoy sharing in their happiness, too.

Alexander Birthdays: 7 Acre Woods: January 29, 2011

One of my favorite families...as said in a previous post, I just adore the Alexander Family.  The children celebrated their birthdays together this year at a very whimsical park - 7 Acre Woods.  Such a magical place for a 5 and 3 year old!  A petting zoo, zip line, playground, putt-putt golf course, and many other fun things to do.  For me, it was being given the opportunity to once again capture/ the innonence, fun spirit and beauty of these two kiddos....

OK... so this isn't an Alexander Kiddo but he did smile for the camera.

Family Day: Northshore Park: February 13, 2011

The weather was absolutely gorgeous today.  So beautiful that I just had to take pictures of Ayden and his mommy.  Unfortunately, Daddy had to work.  :-( 

Jaymi, her mom, her little sister and Ayden met me at Northshore Park.  What started out as a mommy and baby picture day turned into a  family picture day.  Within about 5 mins of arriving, Ayden's grandpa (my son's dad), his wife, and his little girl showed up.  Here are some of my favorites from the day.  I loved taking every one of them..and more.
